# Translate Strings

This section is for users who want to translate the scripts into different languages. You can follow the steps below to make your translations:

## **Step 1: Locate the Translation File**

* Use the `web/dist/locales/locale.json` file for translation. This file contains all the text in the current language and is structured as key-value pairs.
* **Make Your Translation**
  * Update the existing text values in the `locale.json` file with your translations in your desired language.
  * Example:

    ```json
    {
      "welcome_message": "Welcome to our script!",
      "exit_message": "Thank you for using our script."
    }
    ```
* **Save Your Changes**
  * After making your translations, save the `locale.json` file to ensure that your changes are applied.
* **Test Your Translations**
  * Run the script to test your translations and ensure that everything is displayed correctly.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.rainmad.com/resources/minigame-bundle/translate-strings.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
